Claranet SOHO focuses on making internet services simple for small businesses and consumers. They needed digital PR support for their Gamer product, a fastpath enabled, highly responsive, low contention, low latency network with unshaped bandwidth, true uncapped downloads and speeds of up to 20Mbps download / 1Mbps upload.
The Brief
Raise awareness with gamers through a targeted programme across gaming media, technology media and key influencers. Encourage demo and reviews with key influencers to spread word of mouth about Claranet SOHO’s gamer offering. Position Claranet SOHO as the ultimate broadband provider for the gaming audience.
What we did
Sponge instigated an online PR campaign across gaming and technology media, focusing on the network’s massive benefits for gamers during peak times. Journalists were invited to trial the service for a limited period and experience the superior service for themselves.
