Raileasy, the independent online train ticket retailer appointed Sponge in June 2010 to be their lead Agency to raise awareness of the Raileasy brand amongst consumers.


The Brief

Our job was to provide a Strategic Communications Plan including a Marketing Strategy, Creative Positioning and cohesive Marketing and PR campaign for the year.
Sponge was charged with the task of generating awareness of the Raileasy site, improving CTRs and conversion, building and maintaining brand loyalty.
What Raileasy needed was not an ad campaign but a creative idea that could work in a holistic way across all mediums and disciplines.

What we did

Sponge created a year long communications plan that positioned Raileasy as the modern destination maker.

We increased awareness through a mixture of PR and banner advertising that promoted eye-catching offers, driving people to the Raileasy website and encouraging registration.
