Bkool approached us to help launch the Smart Pro 2 Turbo Trainer, the follow up to the hugely successful Smart Pro, a best selling product for the Spanish tech company

Objective:

  • Launch the Smart Pro 2 with endemic and non-edemic media
  • Raise awareness of Bkool with a UK cycling audience

Our Thinking:

Bkool are relative newcomers into the UK cycling market, and we wanted to not only launch the fantastic turbo trainer into the market, but also raise awareness of the brand in general. We collaborated with other brands and gave away turbo trainers with destination and lifestyle competitions. We also wanted to look beyond cycling media, and send the turbo trainer to design and men’s interest titles.

Results:

The Smart Pro 2 was covered in The Guardian, The Gadget Show, London Evening Standard, Shortlist Magazine alongside blanket coverage in Cyclist, Cycling Weekly, Road.cc, Tri247, 220 Triathlon, and Cycling Plus amongst many others.
